Yea – it’s almost Friday! Good to ‘see’ you and welcome.
Today’s new shop offering is an extremely rare mid century teapot designed by Eva Zeisel and produced by Hallcraft.
Eva Zeisel was known for her hands on, user friendly designs and for her significant role in establishing the “mid century modern” style.
Just look at the graceful swoops and curves on this teapot – absolutely gorgeous, and the artistic pattern – very ‘modern’ and distinctive of Zeisel.
Hallcraft, a line produced by Hall China, commissioned Zeisel in 1950 and production of this pattern – Arizona – began in 1952. Zeisel’s work quickly became “America’s number one selling dinnerware” during the 1950’s.
Whether you collect teapots, Eva Zeisel china or mid century ceramics – this is a piece you’ll surely want to consider.

I have a 15” platter, gravy boat with spoon, pitcher and sugar bowl with lid in this same pattern, I believe that it is quite rare a pattern as all the search’s show many different patterns and plain but not finding any others in this Arizona pattern
