For those of you who are starting to get a little tired of the unrelenting HEAT of Summer – here’s a glimpse of cooler days and Fall fun to come! Halloween is happening here at Old Raven Creates.
When you have an online shop like I do (OldRavenonEtsy.com) then now is the time to start stocking Halloween goodies. It may be hot as Hades outside but I’m nice and cool in my studio making Halloween treats.
And I’ve been on a roll with my art cubes (ATBs). These are the perfect size for office desk decor or for accenting a coffee table or Halloween buffet.
All four sides have a different scene including a bat trapped under crackled glass and a variety of gears which appear to be lubed with and leaking blood.
These arm “levers’ are perfectly ghastly and, did you notice the background? Each side is papered with something that looks like goose bump skin in a toxic green.
Everything is dungeon grungy with a real Frankenstein vibe with all the gears, nuts and bolts.
And of course, I didn’t forget the top. One of my trademark dis-articulated skeletons is scattered about and a bit burnt.
I’m afraid this guy’s a real mess but he’s still interested in whats going on as he’s managed to get his head up with the help of his bony hands to keep an ‘eye’ on things.
