I recently found a packet of blank note cards with envelopes at my favorite “second hand store”. I love shopping in these places, you never know what you’re going to find and the real challenge is what can you make with everyday objects? I’ve already done a step by step blog on upcycling greeting cards to gift tags but I wanted to share these colorful beauties with you.
I will have these listed in my Etsy shop in the next day or two. Not only are these cards – now gift tags – colorful but they’re beautifully embossed besides. These make great little notes to stick on a child’s lunch bag, a bottle of wine, address a present or even use as unique price tags. Roll up a fat quarter and loop one of these around it and give it to a quilting buddy. So, out of one 5″ x 4″ note card I got 15 Gift Tags – cool!
Do you have a drawer full of greeting cards that were just to pretty to toss – upcycle!
Very cool re-purposing!
